Mad Mimi Marketing Success Story : LocalGuiding

Today we bring you this fantastic video from LocalGuiding. It’s a marketing success!

LocalGuiding used one of their Mad Mimi email newsletters to solicit video contributions from their tour guides, who are spread around the world. Once they gathered up all the submissions, they edited this winsome video together.

“By using Mad Mimi as a communication platform, we were able to connect with our thousands of tour guides in 600+ destinations and over 100 countries around the globe. We asked our guides to send a short video clip including a bio and showcasing the highlight of a tour in their city, to create an inspiring video project for our network of travelers. The diverse clips we received were edited together to make this amazing video featuring local guides throughout Chile. The project proves that although our guides are distances apart, their passion for travel and unique experiences can bring them together.”

The first video was such a marketing success that in upcoming weeks, LocalGuiding will release its second collaborative tour guide video on at Localguiding.com.

Using email newsletters to communicate internally with your team is a surefire way to keep your audience’s attention, especially if past emails may have been, ahem, uninspired. (We use Mad Mimi for our internal team emails, too.)

We’re seriously impressed with the quality content in this video and are suddenly considering a trip to Chile – with personable tour guides, of course. Thank you so much for sharing this video. What a treat!
